Biology; Towson University<\/p>\n<p>I got my career started by working as an intern for the oyster hatchery here at HPL before moving into public outreach and informal science education in Baltimore City and a few of the surrounding counties. There I contributed to developing curriculum used in middle and high school to encourage environmental science literacy. After returning to HPL oyster hatchery I focused my attention on algae culture and began my research studying the effects of pH on culture density in Tetreselmis chuii.
